About GS Print

Founded in 1992, GS Print has traded from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire for almost 16 years. We are situated near the A 38, only 10 minutes drive from Junction 28 of the M1.

We are not afraid to be different. We stretch ourselves to accommodate new ideas and new processes. We will often take on projects other companies won’t touch, either because the lead time is too short, the quantity is too small, or the process involved has not been tried before. Yes, we do sometimes come unstuck, but we never turn our back on a project and will do what is necessary to get a workable solution and deliver the goods.

We recently recruited a new member of staff to head our sales team: Wesley Dabbs. He has a wealth of experience, contacts all over the industry and is well respected by those he deals with. If you have a requirement for any promotional item or garment, Wesley is the one to source it for you at the right price and he will commit every effort to your project. Wesley works from our office in Birmingham and is supported at head office in Mansfield by Chloe, who also has lots of experience in sales and customer service.

Mike runs the Vinyl Department: very enthusiastic and committed, always looking for new vinyl effects and new ways to personalise garments. Some of the Stag and Hen garments he has produced are stunning and more often than not, a bit cheeky.

One of our customers is a designer and manufacturer of bespoke dancewear for competition dancers. The demands of this genre are very high in terms of quality and attention to detail. Chantelle, who is our recently appointed artwork and design operative, is responsible for converting supplied artwork into a printable format. She can provide re-draws from jpegs or even digital photographs of printed items. Chantelle is also able to help with the creative process, providing design and artwork for all areas of print. Embroidery digitisation is available in-house and as a matter of course, we sample and present a finished embroidery to our customers for approval, before we commence embroidery production.

We can accept digitised files, photographs, scans, letterheads and computer files such as jpegs, pdfs and eps files.

We have in-house design and artwork facilities to get the most impact and suit the item to be personalised. The reprographics department has artwork packages to optimise your logo or design and can plot this to film in-house and produce the media from which the highest quality print will be attainable. Our in-house print team can advise on the best print process to use. We use pad printing, screen printing and foil blocking to personalise a range of items from USB drives and calculators to T shirts, umbrellas…. We can even print marquee panels.

If you require embroidery, we have in-house digitisation and our combination of single-head and eight-head embroidery machines mean that we can handle an order of 3 polo shirts up to thousands of different garments for a large workforce. Not only do we embroider all types of work-wear, corporate-wear, sports-wear, school-wear and safety-wear, we can also supply and embroider towels, hats, bags and other textiles.

Another speciality of ours, is in-house CAD-cut vinyl lettering and logos for garments. We can design, prepare, cut and press a variety of vinyl finishes onto a wide range of garment types. From hi-viz site-wear to stag and hen party wear, we have the expertise.

Transfers are also available for multi-colour designs.

We also have dye sublimation facilities to produce photo quality images onto mugs, mouse mats and shirts.
